It was such a pleasure to meet all of our new Nursery school students last week! You all looked adorable wearing your masks! It is going to be a great school year!
This week will begin the 2020/21 school year. It is sure to be one for the record books. Please make sure that all your records, especially your emergency cards, are up to date and on file in the ECC office.
This week we will learn “All About Me”. We are all alike, yet we are all different. This week we will learn all about what makes us each specIal and unique. We will explore our bodies and learn to identify our body parts and how we use them. We will also explore the letters in our names, letter Bb and numbers 1 and 2.
Parents please remember to be patient as the children transition to being in school. It is normal for young children to experience some separation anxiety. Please also remember to bring your family apple photo on your first day. Having a family photo in the classroom often helps the children feel more comfortable there. We will be displaying them in the room for the children to see.
