Reading: We will finish reading The Homework Machine and work on a writing project to go along with it. We will work in the Wonders companion book
Grammar: Simple tenses: present, past, future
Vocabulary: Book unit 5
Writing: We will be finishing our personal narratives
Religion: Prayer. We are completing a prayer journal and will explore why we pray.
SS: Ch 2: Complete and take home assessment in text Wed. 11/9
Science: Continue unit 1. Unit test Friday, 11/18
Fifth grade is bringing in cookies and juice that the National Junior Honor Society is collecting for a local food pantry. Students who donate will be given a NUT card.
Parent-teacher conferences: 11/17 No school for students
This week I have been thinking aobut Ecclesiastes 3:1,
For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven, and how no matter what we go through, God is right there with us. We can use His wisdom and strength. Just a thought.
