Happy Thanksgiving! We had a wonderful time at our school wide feast last Wednesday. I look forward to the month of Decomeber with your children. They keep me laughing. Thank you to all of you who conferenced with me. This is the last week of the first trimester. Please be sure all work is in by Wed. Here’s what’s going on this week:
Reading and writing: We are exploring an issue of Storyworks and will be writing an argumentative essay. We will begin a book titled Frindle and learn about main idea.
Grammar: Progressive form of verbs, Perfect Tenses. Please be sure all pages before page 103 are complete.
Vocabulary: Workbook- unit 7. Please be sure all chapters before ch. 7 are complete.
Math: Chapter 7: Add and Sub Fractions and Mixed Numbers with Unlike Denominators. Quiz 12/8 Test 12/9. Multiplication mad minutes.
S.S.: We will work on our book of explorers and begin ch 3.
Science: Unit 2:Watery Planet. Please be sure your child has completed and turned in the daily science 1 in the science google classroom by Wed.
Religion: Prayer unit. We will also be learning about advent and are writing in our prayer journals each day.
This Thanksgiving, I am thoughtful of how grateful I am for having the opportunity to work at Trinity. Each day holds something new and I am never bored! I sincerely thank you for sending your children to Trinity and entrusting me with them for this brief time. I hope you enjoy this wonderful season of Christmas as we prepare to celebrate our Savior’s birth.
