Earth Science: The vocabulary quiz on Chapter 8 will be on Tuesday. In class this week we will be discussing the earthquake activity we finished in class last week. We will also begin reviewing for our chapter test will be next Tuesday 2/9. Towards the end of the week we will be working on an earthquake engineering lab which will teach us about building structure and how they are made to withstand earthquakes. Some supplies make be needed for the students who are remoting from home.
Physical Science: The test on Chapter 11 is on Tuesday. This week we will finishing up our research on the atomic theory and the scientists who discovered it. Once the research is complete we will be creating a timeline in class.
Life Science: The test on Chapter 9 is on Thursday. In class this week we will continue working on our animal cube project. This project will be due at the end of the week.
Living Environment: This week we will be learning about genes and variation, genetic changes in population due to evolution, and the process of speciation. We also will be doing a NYS lab on the Beaks of Finches as well. The quiz on Chapter 16 and 17 will be on Monday 2/8.
Math 6: There will be a test on graphing this Friday. This week in class we will be working on a graphing project as well as reviewing for our test.
Math 7: There will be a test on 2D Geometry this Thursday. In class this week we will finish up our area word problem packet as well as reviewing for our test.
