Life Science: There are two quizzes this week. The 3.1 quiz is on Monday. The 3.2 quiz is on Thursday. This week we will continue learning about cells and what they are made up of. In class we will also be discussing the organization of living things.
Living Environment: The Unit 2 exam is on Tuesday. This week in class we will be learning about cells and their structures, osmosis, diffusion, and how cells maintain homeostasis. We will also be discussing the compound light microscope and what it is used for. The Chapter 7 quiz will be on Tuesday 11/1.
Physical Science: There will be a quiz Friday on 3.1 and 3.2. This week in class we will be learning about the three different states of matter. In class we will be discussing the difference between a solid, liquid and gas and how they are able to change state.
6th Math: In class this week we will be learning how to multiply and divide fractions. The quiz on multiplying and dividing fractions is Thursday. This week we will also be working on a project using recipes learning how to alter the measurements using multiplication.
7th Math: There is a quiz Monday on unit rate, rate of change, and proportional relationships. This week in class we will be learning about the three different types of percent problems. We also will begin discussing percent of change this week. The quiz on percent problems will be on Wednesday.
