Joke of the Week: Why did the dinosaur cross the road?
Song of the Week- Miracles by Colton Dixon AND we will be listening to all the songs we have had as our songs of the week and narrowing down our Top 10! Our Top 10 will be played for you at our Moving Up Ceremony on Wednesday, June 14th at 9:30am!
Language Arts- This week we will continue Unit 10 our final unit of our Wonder’s series and our last lesson of the school year. Our essential question is, In what ways are things alike? How are they different? we will read, All Kinds of Families! We will learn the sight words – come & does and focus on all our alphabet sounds. We will continue to determine the missing sounds in CVC words, word families, count how many words in a sentence and read in small groups and have reading homework.
Language Arts Centers- This weeks centers will be reading and CVC words.
Math- This week we will complete Chapter 16– Analyze and Compare Two-Dimensional Shapes and have our test on Friday!
Math Centers- We will practice identifying 2D shapes.
Jesus Time- We have completed the whole New Testament of the Bible! Now we will go back to the Old Testament and read the stories we did not get to finish before we jumped to Jesus’s birth for Christmas.
Science: We will engage in Scholastics on summer play and ocean animals!
Answer: Because the chicken wasn’t born yet.
