We will learn sight words can, it & recap our sight words – see, we, a, to; and our letter sounds of /m/, /s/, /a/, /t/, /k/, and /p/. In grammar, we will continue to learn about adjectives to describe things, and this week we will use size and shapes to describe items. Lastly, in writing we will use descriptive words to describe things.

Being the season advent we created advent wreaths to countdown the weeks until Christmas and will “light” (color) our second light on our advent wreaths! In the next two weeks we will discuss the reason for the season, and enjoy some Christmas stories and activities!

Our Elf on the Shelf arrived last week, together we read the story of Elf on the Shelf and name our elf, we named him Jingle Jolly or JJ for short! We will be on our best behavior so our elf can report back to Santa each night! As a class we will follow the number one rule the elf requires, which is no touching!! Otherwise, the elf will loose its magic and not be able to come back to our classroom.

Have a wonderful week!!
