We are now in the final days of regular work in my classes. After Memorial Day, we will begin reviewing for final exams. Here are the updates for this week.
6th Religion
This week the students will be researching the 12 Disciples, and each of the students will present a Google Slides presentation to the class on Wednesday. This will count as their last test grade of the year.
6th Social Studies
In social studies, we will be learning about feudalism and what life was like on a medieval manor. There will not be a separate test on Topic 9, but the content will be included on the final.
7th Social Studies
The students will have their test on Topic 7: Society and Culture Before the Civil War, on Wednesday, May 25th. There will be extra help on Tuesday after school. Pick up is at 3:40pm sharp.
8th Religion
The very last topic we will study this year is based on John the Baptist, but we will explore the concept of apologetics and how to share our Christian faith with others.
8th Social Studies
We will continue our study of the Cold War Era with learning about the events of the Eisenhower administration and life in the 1950s, as well as the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s. There will not be a separate test on Topic 15, but the content will be included on the final.
