Welcome back to a new week! Here are the updates for this week.
6th Religion
This week we will be covering our last lesson on Daniel, and then we will study how Queen Esther saved her people from annihilation in the Persian Empire. At the end of the week, we will get into the return to Judah from captivity. There is no memory verse this week.
6th Social Studies
The students will have their test on Chapter 11, The Roman Empire on Thursday, May 13th. You may view the study guide here.
7th Social Studies
In seventh grade, we will begin chapter 11, which will cover the events and economic differences that led to the split between the north and south. This week will focus primarily on the Industrial Revolution and transportation revolution in the north. Next week we will focus on the south.
8th Social Studies
In eighth grade, we will be wrapping up World War II this week. The test will be on Tuesday, May 18th. You may view the study guide here.
8th Religion
In eighth grade religion, we will finally get into the birth and life of Jesus! We will start off by studying the prophecies about His birth and then get into the accounts written in the Gospels. There is no memory verse this week.
