We will read daily devotions each day. We will explore the first six words of Psalm 46, this year’s Bible verse, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” We will also talk about prayer and praising God at all times, wherever we may be.

On Wednesday we will “attend” chapel on Zoom from our classroom!

A few announcements…

I am thrilled to announce that your second grader had a fabulous first week of school last week! They are hard-working rule followers and have such positive attitudes! As each week passes, we will continue to layer on additional subject areas and so our workload will grow. Please be sure everyone gets a good night’s rest and fuels up in the morning with breakfast! We enjoy a snack break at around 10:15 each day.

* Please accept all invitations to join our Second Grade and Specials’ Google Classrooms that have been sent to your child’s email address. Once accepted, parents’ emails will be added as well. Google Classroom will be used for remote learner resources, links to forms for after-school activities, shared class materials and announcements.

Back to School Night will be Tuesday evening  9/22 via Zoom (K-5). More details to follow!

If you would like your son/daughter to buy pizza on Friday, please return the green envelope by Thursday morning,  labeled with your child’s name and be sure to include the exact cash amount due.

I believe most supplies for the children are in. Thank you so much for providing everything we need!

This blog will be refreshed each week by Monday morning.

If you have any questions or concerns please email me at [email protected].

God bless our week ahead.
