Writer’s Workshop- Superhero Writing! Please note that children may dress up as their superhero (or bring in a prop) if they’d like when reading their writing to the class. Date to be determined!

Cursive is challenging, but they are doing fantastic!

Keys to legibility are size, shape, spacing and slant! Handwriting is important and strengthens our fine motor skills! Neatness counts!

Thank you to all who helped and supported our W.I.N.G.O. night this past Friday! A very special thank you to Mrs. Shannon who helped with assembling our second grade “toys” themed raffle basket!

There will be no school on Thursday, May 26 due to a teacher’s Professional Development Day. In observance of Memorial Day, school will be closed from Friday, May 27- Monday, May 30. School will resume Monday, May 31.

•*If your son or daughter has a hard time completing homework, please let me know so I can reinforce the concept in school the following day. Thank you!
