Important Information and News:

On Wednesday we will enjoy a Thanksgiving Feast in the gym. Thank you in advance to all volunteer parents offering their time as well as for all donations sent in for the children. I would like to wish everyone a Thanksgiving filled with better focus- taking the time to notice all of the little things our lives are blessed with. When we stop and count the ways, we find how richly blessed we truly are.

• Parent Teacher Conferences took place Thursday. It was a pleasure speaking with you all. Thank you for being such a strong support for your children.

This past Friday we had the pleasure of welcoming Mr. and Mrs. Bumpass to our classroom as our latest Mystery Readers! They shared I Have a Superpower by Stephen Curry. It was enjoyed by all and relayed a very important message to the second graders. Everyone has a super power – the power within- within our hearts to strive to do our best!

I Have a Superpower: Curry, Stephen, Bowers, Geneva

Calling all readers! Please sign up to be a Mystery Reader! Second grade would love to have you! Kindly email me at [email protected] for information and scheduling.

Happy Thanksgiving!
