Math 6

This week we are starting a new chapter.  Our focus this week will be exploring how to add and subtract positive and negative numbers.  We will have a quiz on these skills on Monday, 4/26.  When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.

Math 7

This week we are starting a new chapter on Probability.  This week our focus will be on theoretical and experimental probability.  On Friday, we will be doing a probability lab using M & Ms.  There are not any tests or quizzes this week.  When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.

Math 8 (Pre-Algebra)

This week we will be starting a new chapter on 3D  geometry.  This week we will focus on classifying 3D shapes by name, faces, vertices, and edges.  We will also explore how to find the volume of prisms and cylinders.  We will  have a quiz on these topics on Friday, 4/23.  When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.

Algebra

This week we will continue reviewing chapter 9 on Monday and Tuesday.  Our test on Chapter 9 will be on Wednesday, 4/21.  Use the regents review questions and review packets to guide your studying.   When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.
