Math 6

This week we are continuing with our unit on expressions. On Monday, we will be reviewing how to evaluate expressions when the variable is given a specific value.  The quiz on this topic is on Tuesday, 3/23.  The remainder of the week will focus on distributing and factoring expressions.  When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.

Math 7

This week we are continuing with our unit on statistics.  On Monday, we will be learning how to construct Box and Whisker Plots to display data.  We will have a quiz on box and whisker plots on Thursday, 3/25.  At the end of the week we will start working on a Sports Statistic project.  When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.

Math 8 (Pre-Algebra)

This week our focus will be on reviewing how to use the midpoint formula.  The quiz on the midpoint formula will be on Tuesday, 3/23.  For the remainder of the week we will be exploring how to use the distance formula to find the distance between two points.  When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.

Algebra

This week we will be  reviewing how to find the axis of symmetry, vertex, and roots of equations.  We will also explore how to solve quadratics using the zero property.  The quiz on these topics will be on Tuesday, 3/23.  After the quiz we will be exploring how to solve quadratic equations by completing the square and using the quadratic formula.  When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.
