Math 6

This week we are starting a new unit on expressions.  This week our focus will be on exponents and the order of operations or PEMDAS.  We will be having a quiz on exponents and PEMDAS on Friday, 3/5.  When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.

Math 7

This week we finishing up our unit on 3D geometry.  We will have a quiz on Tuesday, 3/2 on cross sections and finding volume.  The remainder of the week will be used to study for the unit exam, which is on Thursday, 3/4.  The test will cover surface area, cross sections, and volume. When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.

Math 8 (Pre-Algebra)

We are finishing up our chapter on 2D Geometry.  This week will be reviewing for our unit test, which will be on Thursday, 3/4.  The exam covers: translations, reflections, rotations, dilations,  symmetry, similar and congruent shapes.

Algebra

This week we will be continuing with our chapter on Polynomials.  This week we will focus on factoring binomial expressions with a lead coefficient larger than 1, factoring with special cases, and factoring by grouping.There are no tests or quizzes this week.    When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.
