Pre- Algebra

This week we are continuing with our new chapter on geometry.  We have been exploring translations, reflections and rotations.  We are also working on a reflection project.   There is a quiz on Tuesday, 2/7 on the above mentioned topics.

Algebra

 This week we are continuing with our chapter on polynomials.  We have been exploring how to add, subtract, multiply and factor polynomials.  This week we will focus on multiplying two binomials.  We will learn 3 methods to do this, box method, distrubuting, and FOIL.  There will be a quiz on all of the above mentioned topics (Lessons 8.1 to 8.4) on Monday, 2/13.
