Math 6

This week we are continuing with our unit on ratios and rates.  We will be creating proportions to convert different measurements.  We will also be reviewing for the ratio test, which will be on Thursday and Friday, 2/25-2/26.  When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.

Math 7

This week we are starting a new unit on 3D geometry.  This week we will be continuing to practice calculating surface area and then explore volume.  There will be a quiz on surface area on Tuesday, 2/23 When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.

Math 8 (Pre-Algebra)

We are continuing with our chapter on 2D Geometry.  This week our focus will be on dilations, congruence, and symmetry. There will be a quiz on the above mentioned topics on Wednesday, 2/24.  Later in the week we will begin exploring different types of angle relationships.

Algebra

This week we will be continuing with our chapter on Polynomials.  This week we will focus on reviewing lessons 8.1 to 8.4.  The quiz on these lessons will be on Wednesday, 2/24.  Following the quiz, we will explore factoring binomials.    When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.
