Hello Parents,
I hope everyone enjoyed the weekend! This is a short week due to the Thanksgiving break on Thursday and Friday. We will be having our Thanksgiving feast on Wednesday, thank you to all the volunteers for donating items to the feast! You may send in the items at any point this week.

– Please remember to complete the daily attestations each morning prior to coming to school.
-Our class e-book showcase has begun. I hope you are enjoying learning about the children in the class.
We are continuing the theme, “Our Community” and the third unit is called “Things That Move.” BIG Idea: Transportation is for doing jobs and getting around my community. Knowledge Focus: Children learn about the role of the community in their lives and the importance of good citizenship. Social-Emotional Focus: Responsibility. Vocabulary Theme Words: driver, passenger, safety, traffic, transportation, travel and vehicle.
We will be learning the letter Kk and the #11.
We will be reading the books “I’m Your Bus”, “Dig, Dig, Digging”, “Carlos Likes Counting.”
For Jesus time, we will be learning about God teaching Samuel how to pray. We will also continue talking about being thankful for our family and friends.

This week we will be reading the “Holiday Needs and Wants” Scholastic Weekly Reader.

I will be sending homework packets out on Monday which will be due on Wednesday or Monday of next week.
