-Our class e-book showcase has begun. If you haven’t sent me your child’s answers to the questions, please send them to me ASAP.

We are continuing the theme, “Our Community” and the second unit is called “People We Meet.” BIG Idea: The workers in my community help everyone. Knowledge Focus: Children learn about the role of the community in their lives and the importance of good citizenship. Social-Emotional Focus: Responsibility. Vocabulary: doctor, firefighter, librarian, mail carrier, police officer, work and workers.
We will be learning the letter Jj, #10, and the color gray.
We will be reading the books “Jobs”, “Dot the Fire Dog” and “ABC Drive!”
For Jesus time, we will be learning about Hannah Prays-thank you for church.
Specials:
Art: Wednesday from 11-11:42
Physical Education: Thursday from 12:30-12:50
Critter Room: Every other Friday
This week we will be reading the “A Heart Full of Thanks” Scholastic Weekly Reader.
I will be sending homework packets out on Monday which will be due on Friday.
