We had a great first week of school. We focused on getting to know each other and settling into our daily routine.
This week we will be focusing on the letter A and apples. We will take a virtual field trip through an apple orchard. We will also be tasting red, yellow and green apples (if you don’t want your child tasting apples, please email me or message me through class Dojo).
I will be reading How Do Apples Grow by Jill McDonald and Ten Apples Up On Top by Dr. Seuss.
For art, we will be making yarn apples that will hang on our community tree in the hallway for everyone to see. We will also be making our own puff paint and painting apples to send home.
