Welcome to Mrs. Flomer’s class notes!
Here’s a look at what we will be doing this week!
Spelling- The words for this week are: up, bug, mud, nut, hug, tub. The “R” book words that will be on the test are: friend, hold, full, good. The children will write all 10 of their words 3x each for homework. The test will be on Thursday (no school on Friday).
Phonics- short u, qu, z sounds
Language Arts- adjectives; synonyms
Reading: fantasy
We will read the story Gus takes the Train. The children will read it again at home. There will be a Reading test on THURSDAY.
Math- Add in any order; Count on
Social Studies- America is Special- Review for a test on Book 1 next Wednesday, 10/21
I will send the book home to study the yellow highlighted words in each lesson. Please send the book back to school on test day.
Religion- Story of Joseph
Weekly Reader- Firefighting

School is closed on Friday for the students. The teachers will be attending a conference.
Picture Day is Thursday at 9 A.M. for our class.
Please remember to send in the class party money ($10).
Send in your child’s pizza money by Thursday morning.
