Here’s a look at what we will be doing this week!
Spelling- The new words for Lesson 24 are: soon, new, noon, zoo, boot, too, moon, blew, soup, you, ready, earth. The children will write their spelling words 3x each for homework and write 8 sentences (or a story) by Thursday. Encourage your child to be creative and think of their own sentences. Their writing skills have grown so much! Spelling Test will be on Friday.
Phonics- oo, ou, ew, ue
Language Arts- indefinite pronouns
Reading: We will read the story, A Tree is a Plant. The children will read the story again at home. There will be a Reading test given on Friday.
Math- Finish chapter 11
We will have a test on Wednesday. A practice test will be given on Tuesday.
Social Studies- All about Goods/Trade
Weekly Reader- Caterpillar/Butterfly
