Welcome to Mrs. Flomer’s class notes
This is a short week for the students due to a professional development day for the teachers on Thursday and the Memorial Day recess begins on Friday. There will be no tests until we come back to school after Memorial Day.
Spelling- The words for the new story are: sad, sadly, slow, slowly, dust, dusty, trick, tricky, help, helpful, beautiful, listen. We will have our spelling test on Thursday, 6/2.
Reading: There is a test on Lesson 29 next Thursday, 6/2. The children should know the suffixes –ful, -ly, and –y and adverbs. The story is Hi! Fly Guy.
Math- We are on the last chapter in our Math books, lesson 12: 2D shapes
Religion- We will continue with the last book in our religion curriculum (Book 9).
Our class will be leading chapel this Wednesday if you would like to watch on Zoom at 8:30 using the link that morning announcements are on.
