Welcome to Mrs. Flomer’s class notes!
Here’s a look at what we will be doing this week of Thanksgiving! We will be doing holiday activities in between lessons.
Spelling- The test for last week’s words will be this Tuesday. There will be no new spelling words since it is a short week. We will be working on spelling words associated with Thanksgiving.
Language Arts- We will begin a new lesson after the Thanksgiving weekend. The test on last week’s “R” book words and reading comprehension questions will be given this Tuesday.We will also work on reading comprehension stories about the Pilgrims.
Math- Complete chapter 4- test on Wednesday (related facts). A practice test will be given on Tuesday.
Religion- Thank you, God
Social Studies- Our Community
Weekly Reader- Who’s That Bird?
1AA News
On Wednesday, 11/23, we will have a Thanksgiving feast. Special desserts will be served in the classroom following the feast.

I would like to wish all of you a very happy, blessed Thanksgiving. We all have so much to be thankful for. I am very thankful for my wonderful first grade students!
