Welcome to Mrs. Flomer’s class notes!
Here’s a look at what we will be doing this week!
Spelling- There will be no new spelling words since it is a short week. We will be working on spelling words associated with Thanksgiving. There will not be a test this week.
Language Arts- We will begin lesson 10 after the Thanksgiving weekend. This week we will work on reading comprehension stories about the Pilgrims. No tests this week.
Math- addition strategies
Test Wednesday on chapter 3
Religion- Thank you, God
Social Studies- Our Community
Weekly Reader- Kids can Give
1AA News
On Wednesday, 11/24, we will have a Thanksgiving feast. Special desserts will be served in the classroom following the feast.
I enjoyed meeting with each and every one of you at parent/teacher conferences! Thank you for all of your input, and please contact me if you would like to meet again at any time during the school year.
I would like to wish all of you a very happy, blessed Thanksgiving. We all have so much to be thankful for. I am very thankful for my wonderful first grade students!
