Welcome to week two of November.  The countdown to the end of the year is vastly approaching! Exciting things are in store for the kids! Our new dismissal time at 11:50am is working very nicely and the children quickly adjusted to being in school for the additional time.  As we strive to keep everyone safe, please remember to complete the daily attestations each morning prior to coming to school.

This week we will talk about Veterans and how they’ve served our country.  We will make cards thanking them for their service and deliver them to a few veterans in our school family. We will read Veterans Heroes In Our Neighborhood as well as watch a video Veterans Day Thank You. Last week we collected leaves, bark, sticks, acorns, etc. to play with in our sensory bins, which we will continue to do.  We will continue to work on our fall crafts and crafts for our Thanksgiving celebration.

We will continue to talk about how God made the world, how God made us and how we are so thankful to God and love Him so much. We introduced a new prayer last week and the boys and girls say it beautifully.  The prayer is below if you’d like to say it with them:

Thank you for the world so sweet.
Thank you for the food we eat.
Thank you for the birds that sing.
Thank you God, for everything. Amen.

Our Christmas Program is sure to be an event that you won’t want to miss.  We will start practicing our songs this week and I’m so excited to share information about our program with you in the coming days!
