Happy November! I am so excited to welcome in the month of November with the kids. The next two months are one of my favorite times of the year! As we strive to keep everyone safe, please remember to complete the daily attestations each morning prior to coming to school.
I’m so proud of the 2’s for adjusting so well to school these past few months. Starting Tuesday, November 2, 2021, we will be dismissing at 11:50am. I’m excited to have the extra time with the kids and I can’t wait to introduce new activities to them. We do have a staggered dismissal time in order to ease congestion in the streets and the drive-up line. Please kindly adhere to the 11:50am pick up time as we do have classes that dismiss at noon.
Our conversations this week will be all about everything nature. We will read Leaf Man and go on a walk to collect things from nature for our fall sensory bin. We will collect leaves, bark, sticks, acorns, etc. to fill up our sensory bins for some hands-on fun. Additionally, we will start to work on our fall crafts and crafts for our Thanksgiving celebration.
We will start talking about how God made the world and will continue doing so for the next two weeks. We will talk about how God made us and how we are so thankful to God and how much we love Him. I will introduce a new prayer for snack time (Thank you for the world so sweet) and a new song (Thank You Lord For Making Me). We will continue singing the Jesus songs we’ve sung thus far.
