Dear parents,
We hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Last week we enjoyed learning about the works of Dr. Seuss. The students really enjoyed making Oobleck!
Next week we will learn to recognize and sound out the letter Kk for kite. We will discuss the meaning of “March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb.” We will keep track of the weather each day to see if it is a lion or a lamb day. The children made lion and lamb puppets last week. During the month of March, they will hold up one of the puppets that match the weather we are having that morning. We will keep track of the weather through weather graphing. At the end of the month, we will see if we have more lion days or more lamb days.
During Jesus time, we will continue to talk about Lent. We will also learn how “God Gives Me the Gift of Plants” Genesis 1:11-13.
