Dear Parents,
This past week we learned how important dental health is. We had a visit from the dentist and she told us about the good foods to eat and the ones we should be careful of. The egg cleaning experiment was a lot of fun for the children and they learned the importance of brushing their teeth. They learned how to recognize the letter Dd and the sound it makes. They also came up with other words that start with the letter Dd.
This coming week, we will teach the students the importance of good manners. We will celebrate Valentine’s Day with a party in our classroom with our friends. We will make fun Valentine’s Day crafts.
We will learn how to recognize the letter Vv and the sound that it makes. We will also come up with words that start with that letter.
Reminders:
- February 14th – Red Day at school. Wear your red Trinity shirts. Valentine’s Day party in our classroom. Please send in a special treat for the party.
- February 20th – 24th – NO SCHOOL for winter recess.
