I can’t believe we only have 12 days left before summer break! We have a lot of fun things in store leading up to the big day – OUR NURSERY SCHOOL MOVING UP CEREMONY!
We are starting a new unit this week all about being healthy. This week we will learn about the different food groups and how to eat healthy. We will read “Are You Eating Something Red”, “Linus the Vegetarian T-Rex” and “Grow Strong”. We will learn about the different food groups and sample some healthy fruits and vegetables.
We also got caterpillars in class last week so we are learning about the different stages of a butterfly. We will watch our caterpillars get bigger and become chrysalis and then turn into butterflies.
Additionally, we will spend time in the next few weeks reviewing letters, numbers, colors and shapes – everything we’ve learned this year.
From now until June 10th we will be practicing non-stop for our moving up ceremony. The children will be singing many different songs and you’re in store for an amazing event.
