This week is a short week with our class picnic being on Thursday and school being closed on Friday for Memorial Day weekend. I am really looking forward to the picnic as it is always a great time for everyone so please pray for nice weather! We will also be releasing our butterflies that have hatched out of their chrysalis!
Our Big Day topic this week is “I Can Do It”. We will read The Little Engine that Could, Leo the Late Bloomer, and Read and Rise.
Our topic for Jesus time is “Jesus promises to be with me”. We will also continue to practice our end of the year songs.
This week we will also be learning the importance of bees and learn about their life cycle.
Our sight words for this week will be “the” and “and”.
