Welcome to the last week of March. Only 2 1/2 more weeks until Easter break: 4/14-4/24.
This week is theme 4 in our Growing up Healthy unit with the topic “Staying Safe”. We will read Always Be Safe and Please Play Safe. We will also watch a Scholastic Weekly Reader about being safe. Our vocabulary words will be: accident, caution, danger, emergency, harm, injury, and safety.
Our math topic this week is “How can we share?” and we will practice simple adding and #1-20 review.
For Jesus time we will hear the story of Zacchaeus and we will finish up learning the Lord’s Prayer. We will also continue to practice our songs for Special Person’s Day on April 5 at 9:15am.
Our letter for this week is Vv and we will read “Vam Vampire”, sing a V song, and make a vase of violets craft.
We are also continuing to work on special projects for Special Person’s Day. At the end of the week we will talk about April Showers Bring May Flowers.
