Happy third Sunday of Advent. Please help your child “light” the next candle on their Advent wreath. I hope everyone enjoyed the Christmas program last week. I was so proud of everyone for practicing so hard and learning all of the words and singing their hearts out for Jesus.
Our letter for this week is Kk. We will practice writing the letter Kk, create a list of Kk words, and have Kk show-and-tell on Friday.
For math this week we continue to review numbers 1-10, colors, and shapes.
For Jesus time this week we will learn about the shepherds coming to visit baby Jesus. We will also have a special chapel visit on Wednesday with Mr. Stainkamp.
We also have a special treat on Monday with a visit from Abraham and Beloved, Trinity’s Comfort dogs.
We will continue to read Christmas stories this week and I have encouraged the children that if they have a special Christmas book at home that they would like to share with the class they are welcome to bring it in and I will read it.
