I hope everyone had a blessed Easter and enjoyed the time off from school.
This week our curriculum topic will be “Our Weather”. We will read What Will the Weather be Like Today? and Weather. Our vocabulary words will be: weather, sunny, windy, and rainy.
Our letter for this week is Yy. We will read “Yodeling Yak” and learn a Y song. We will also make a Y is for yarn craft.
For Jesus time we will talk about Peter and the crippled man.
Last week was Earth Day on April 22 so we will talk this week about caring for the Earth. We will read a Weekly Reader called “Thank you Trees” and we will plant some seeds.
For math this week we will practice sorting and graphing with weather related activities.
