I cannot believe that these are the last 3 days of the school year! What a wonderful year it has been! I didn’t know what to expect this year, having to teach wearing a mask and not being able to get to see their beautiful faces all day. I have to say that it went better than I could have ever imagined. The children were so resilient, and followed the routine of washing hands and wearing their masks like champs! I am so proud of each and every one of them who has blossomed in their own way this year. I am truly blessed to have had them in my class this year. They are forever in my heart.

These last 3 days are going to breeze by, but we will still try to fit a few things in. On Monday we will talk about Flag Day with a Weekly Reader about the American Flag. A few books I have planned to read are F is For Fireflies: God’s Summertime Alphabet, And Then Comes Summer, and The Night Before Kindergarten. I will introduce 2 new sight words: big and red. I will post worksheets for summer sight word review on Class Dojo.

I hope everyone has a blessed Summer vacation and many blessings ahead in Kindergarten!
