This Week in Art:

ECC — This week all classes will create a sheep out of paper plates, white pom poms, markers and crayons.

Kindergarten — will complete their Fall Scenes by drawing and coloring pumpkins and other details.  They are learning so much and will practice these new skills many, many times throughout the school year.

Gr. 1 — our First Graders will practice the wet-on-wet watercolor technique as they paint the background of their patterned hot air balloon pictures.

Gr. 2 — will finish up their patterned landscapes using crayons to color in the newly formed spaces.

Gr. 3 — will be creating their Matisse paper cutout collages this week.

Gr. 4 and Gr. 5 — are finishing up the little details on their construction paper collages.

Middle School students are working on their Mask Collages fashioned after the miniature collage work of the Japanese artist Tanaka.

Keep Creating and Enjoy Your Week!
