Our Christmas Pageant is on Tuesday, and it is going to be great! The children have been practicing their lines and singing their songs. Please have the children in the classroom at 6:40. I’m looking forward to a fantastic show!
We are finishing up our multiplication unit in Math, and we will have the chapter 5 test on Friday.
In Social Studies, we are beginning our unit on Canada.We will start the unit by exploring Canada’s geography. Did you know that it is the second largest country in the world?
In ELA ,we are reading Kamishibai Man. Our vocabulary words are familiar, applause, vacant, rickety, blurry, blasted, jerky, and rude. We are having a vocabulary test on Thursday.
Our spelling words are clown, round, bow, cloud, power, crown, thousand, crowd, sound, count, powder, blouse, frown, and pound. We are also working on abstract nouns.
In Science we are learning about the life cycles of animals.
