Week 12

“Success is never so interesting as struggle.” – Willa Cather

It was great seeing everyone at parent-teacher conferences.

So much is happening this week.

On Tuesday, we are having the Thanksgiving Feast. I’m sure it is going to be delicious.

Tuesday is a paid dress down day with the profits going to the yearbook

Wednesday is the Turkey Trot. I hope everyone will be able to participate. All funds raised will go to Long Island Cares. Last week the students learned a little about hunger on Long Island. This is a great way for our students to demonstrate compassion and giving to others.

Forms are going home on Monday regarding Art Travelers with Hofstra. This is a multi-day experience that is outlined in the letter. Parents are invited to join us at the museum on Friday, December 9th. Please send the slip back asap if you are going to join us.

We are continuing to learn multiplication and different patterns. We are having our chapter test on Friday, December 2nd.  Here is the schedule for the remaining timed multiplication tests.
