The weather threw us for a loop last week!  We recovered well when we returned to school on Wednesday.  A class discussion resulted in the postponement of our Social Studies test to Monday, 2/8.  I don’t typically give exams on Monday but with winter recess a week away, we need to wrap up some of our academic subjects.  The students are well aware that they should find some time over the weekend to study!

4th graders showed their team spirit on Friday for my annual class Super Bowl party.  They spent the day working in teams to complete different challenges related to football and it was lots of fun!  This week we will incorporate some Valentine fun and we will also begin a Famous African American research project.

WEEK: February 7-12
