Week 9

“Today a reader, tomorrow a leader.” – Margaret Fuller

On Monday, we are going to meet State Senator Elaine Phillips. She is coming to Trinity with Long Island Cares to collect the remaining water that has been donated to help the people of Puerto Rico.

On Tuesday, we are having a Fall Party. We are very grateful to our class parents for organizing our party. If you have signed up to send something in, please make sure it is at school by noon.

Math

We have begun multiplication and will be having our first quiz on Tuesday.  It will cover Lessons 3.1, 3.2, and 3.3.  We are also beginning Rocket Math this week. Please review Rocket Math papers every day. Taking the time to memorize multiplication facts in 3rd grade is so important to your child’s success in Math in future grades. Please review them nightly.
