The children did a wonderful job with Read Across America. I loved seeing all the costumes!

This week we are working on our Women Who Made a Difference reports. We are reading books, taking notes, and creating projects to display our learning.

The children really enjoyed the read alouds last week. It is something that I struggled with because of Zooming and the children being social distant, but I think I figured it out. Our favorite book from last week was The Undefeated by Kwame Alexander. This week I am reading Imagine a Day, Imagine a Night, and Imagine a Place. All three are by Sarah Thomson and illustrated by Ron Gonsalves. And the last book we are reading on Thursday is The Girl Who Thought In Pictures: The Story of Dr. Temple Grandin by Julia Finley Mosca

Math

We are continuing our work on fractions. We are having our Chapter 8 test on Tuesday, March 9th. We are also practicing our daily math facts using Xtramath.

ELA

We are finishing up last week’s story. All testing will take place on Thursday.
