Math 6

This week we are finishing up with our graphing unit.  The test is Tuesday, 2/9.  Use the review sheet to help you study.  After the exam, we will be starting a new chapter on ratios and rates.  When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.

Math 7

This week we are starting a new unit on 3D geometry.  This week we will be learning how to find cross sections of various shapes and how to calculate surface area. When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.

Math 8 (Pre-Algebra)

We are continuing with our chapter on 2D Geometry.  This week our focus will be on dilations, congruence, and symmetry. At the end of the week, we will be working on a symmetry project.

Algebra

This week we will be starting a new chapter on Polynomials.  This week we will learn how to add, subtract, multiply and factor them.  We will also be exploring different ways to multiply binomials by using a box method, distributing, and FOIL.   When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.
